Islamic Banking Service Desk Officer (JO/SO)

Job Description / Responsibility
  • Annual business target:
  • Take full ownership of target provided by Head Office
  • Meet annual business target like CASA, MTDR, Debit Card etc. provided by IBD
  • Set strategy to ensure ideal deposit mix
  • Focus more to increase the volume of Low and No cost deposit
  • Create new business opportunities for the bank ensuring a profitable portfolio for the bank
  • Supports towards customers:
  • Develop strong working relations with all existing clients to ensure strong customer satisfaction.
  • Offer all sorts of Islamic products to customers
  • Ensure smooth services and support towards all customers and never say �No� to any customer
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Operational activities & Compliance issues:
  • Ensure proper KYC, personal details, Transaction Profile etc. while opening accounts
  • Take proper initiatives to prevent Money Laundering
  • Monitor local regulatory & compliance functions
  • Provide business reports to Islamic Banking Division on regular interval

Educational Requirements:
  • Four years of Graduation or Masters in any discipline (Finance/ Banking/ Business is preferable) from a reputed university
  • Having no 3rd Class in academic record
Experience Requirements
  • At least 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks
Additional Job Requirements
  • Should have at least 2 years� experience in Islamic Banking as a permanent employee with good experience of working at branch/customer service.
  • Candidate having experience to work as Sales officer is preferred
  • Proficiency both in Bengali and English
  • Proactive & Drive for result
  • Good at maintaining contacts and networking
  • Understanding of the banking industry and specific markets related to the Liability business
  • Adequate knowledge about financial markets products and services
  • Strong credit knowledge and marketing skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft-Office
